FlipOrFlop Privacy Policy

FlipOrFlop ("we", "us", "the app") is a marketplace for buying and selling PC and gaming hardware and for booking tech-repair services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up we collect and verify your phone number (via SMS code). Your phone number is never shown publicly.
Profile information. You provide a display name, city, short bio, and optionally a PayPal username so buyers can pay you. Display name, city, and bio are visible to other users; your PayPal username is used to construct a payment link when a buyer pays you.
Listings and media. When you create a listing you provide photos, a video of the product, a video showing the item's serial number, and the serial number itself. Listing photos and videos are visible to signed-in users. Serial numbers are stored to help verify items and are not displayed as text in the app.
Messages. Chats between buyers and sellers (and Tech Help clients and providers) are stored so both parties can see their conversation.
Orders and bookings. We record deals you enter (listing, price, buyer, seller, status, optional shipping address and tracking number) and Tech Help booking requests.
Ratings, reviews, and reports. Reviews you leave (including photo evidence attached to low ratings) and reports you file about other users.
Device and usage data. Our service providers automatically collect basic technical data such as device type and crash logs to keep the app working.
How we use information
- Operate the marketplace: show listings, enable chat, track orders and bookings.
- Build trust: verified-phone badges, ratings and reviews, serial-number verification, deal-price context.
- Safety: investigate reports, moderate low-star reviews, enforce blocks and our Terms of Service.
- Payments: we do not process sale payments. Buyers pay sellers directly (e.g., via PayPal). Seller/provider subscriptions are processed by Apple.
- Communicate with you about your account or transactions.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use Google Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication, database, and file storage. Your data is processed and stored by Firebase on our behalf (see Google's privacy documentation). Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. Sale payments happen directly between users via PayPal, under PayPal's own terms and privacy policy.
Sharing
Information is shared only: (a) with other users as described above (e.g., your public profile, listings, reviews, chat with your counterparty); (b) with the service providers above; (c) if required by law; or (d) to protect the safety of our users or enforce our terms.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile information in the app.
- You can block or report other users.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at 3nv7.gaming@3nv7.tech. We will delete data we are not legally required to keep.
Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active. Transaction records, reviews, and reports may be retained after account deletion where needed for safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Children
FlipOrFlop is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not use the app if you are under that age.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
